If someone that owns one could humor me and take the cover off and possibly tell me the resistor values for R172, 173, 174 and 175. It would make my life much worth living again.
This is concerning the voltage divider network for the LM342 (older series) or LM78xx (newer series) replacement for the TTL voltage regulation. Appearently the surge from energizing the ckt, over the years, has cooked the divider resistors to the point of changing color and effectively shorting the resistors out.

Soundcraftsmen Pro Control Four R172-5
I took the lid off! R172,174 220ohm 5%, R173,175 22ohm 5%. I also need a schematic for this (now) classic, before it breaks. If you find one please let me know, or where I can get one.

Happy to help, and I love BEER, but will not be in Vegas anytime soon. You may want to use 1 watt resistors because mine are showing signs of overheating. The originals look large for 1/4 watt-they might be 1/2w. I tried (too late) to get a schematic for the ...FOUR, but Soundcraftsmen had already been bought by MTX. I tried to get info from MTX twice and never got any kind of reply! Nice company!!! I tried my oyher sources and came up empty. (I used to be a service company and I have lots of contacts/sources.) It is very important for me to get the info, so you can hold the beer and just keep me informed if you come across anything. Thanks!
well, since i'm new and being "moderated" and cant make my own post even though i've searched through these forums quite a bit.. this thread is about as close as i can get to what i'm wanting.

i recently picked up a Soundcraftsmen pro-control three preamp. i want to do some mods to it but really need a schematic for it. also my voltage regulator has 14.73v and should be 15v so i need to figure out whats causing that since i was hoping to get away with using the existing +/- 15v to power the extra circuits i want to add.
any help will be much appriciated.

I have a Pro Control 4 and I and I am in need of an owners manual. Can anybody make me a copy or send in PDf form? I have tried every web site I know of and I've had no luck or does anyone know of a site that has it for sure? I really am getting fed up with what MTX has done to Soundcraftsmen. I think it was one of best audio companies out there and it's gone for good.
