Sound Code Systems. the LA Glam Slam amp of choice. these old Mosfet PA power amps were awesome in their day. they use the famous and well loved Hitachi Mosfets. I think the same used in Haflers?? I have had this sitting around my shop for a dozen years or so and just never got around to doing anything with them. I they both worked years ago when i last tested them. the larger 2600A i used about 3 years ago for a bit. but both should be gone through and cleaned up etc.

I have 9 of these amps including 2350A's, 2450A's and 2600A's. They were meant for professional use (PA, band, DJ, etc.,) but can be a great audiophile amp with some simple modifications. I would love to have your two SCS amps, but you're too far away and shipping cost has gone thru the roof.

a little spec and history of how i came across the 2600A: purchased a sound system some time ago composed of four cabinets. two transparence 15" woofs, two 12" mids and one jbl hi in each cabinet. it is a great club system.
with it there were originally four SCS 2600As, too. one for each cabinet. but, one SCS 2600A broke before it came into my hands. time to get a fourth again to balance out the system.
i read around on the forums about replacement fans, that is a good idea as some of the fans (not all) run quite loud on the rig.
