I think I have come to an conclusion, I’m getting one spare of the amp/pre. Turntable I’m not worry about either the speakers.. cassette deck get used 3 hours a month so not so worried there either.. cd player I dot think will be a problem to get… minidisc I’m getting a cheap Sony player as main player/recorder and use my technics only for playback occasionally. I even going to get the transistors and ic’s that’s available for my amp.If you favor these amplifiers already sounds like your becoming knowledgeable on mods to keep them alive.
Alternative is explore past your comfort level or what you favor.
Maybe there is something else that would do the same for you.
Otherwise owning multiple copies is a way to acquire working units or parts in the future.
Nothing new, I am guilty of buying 3 or 4 devices myself that are vintage in nature.

I think you should consider building an amplifier because DIY equipment is not trying to cut costs like mass-market equipment.
