I have searched on this, but none of the threads discussing this were quite close enough to my liking.
I plan on doing a simple upgrade to a very light inexpensive DVDP to use as a CDP/SACDP in my system. You probably know the type I mean, they seem unbelievably light in weight and small in size. I think I would only like to spend enough $$$ on vibration/damping to either buy sorbothane feet or metal spiked feet but not too much $$$. I know sorbothane is generally preferred for this duty on audiophile players, but these are typically relatively heavy. Do those ubiquitous metal speaker spikes win in this application because they would add some helpful weight to the player?
TIA
