Sony Transport cdp-925
Hi Picked this up from ebay a year ago ,the guy that sold it as a cd player without the normal conections rca s but had a strange one optical (toslink) . And thats why he never used it.Hence the facia is in mint condition in fact all round and inside is as new.
From the 1980 s maybe the kss150a sticks a little.it sounds very good with my DAC-ASH that i have just finished.
I have a Hagerman clock i intend to fit,i wonder if new caps are needed ?
unable to find any info except its was part of a system ??
cheers john

Don't know it. It does say CD player on the front, not transport so dunno 🙂
It doesn't seem "mass market" enough for Sony to have just a transport.
Would have to see detailed piccys on internals or service manual.

Looking at the photo it appears the normal analogue stages have been ommited. All the component markings are there so possibly there is another model based on this, and that this one as you say is one that forms part of a system relying on the DAC in the amp etc.
For £20 it's a great buy 🙂
