Hi,
I didn't find any information in this case: I could buy this player in the USA (120V) but want to use it in Germany (220V). Is the voltage switchable or what...?
Thanks a lot!
Regards
Thomas

The power rating is not switchable on these models.
The best you can do is to use a power converter - Input: 220-240VAC (European style plug). Output: 100-120VAC (US style plug).
The transformers for the SCD-1/SCD-777 are no longer available from Sony Europe.

Hi,
The SCD-1 owner manual say the USA model are 120V and the Euro model are 230V.
Just my two cents.
