I'm working a ton of overtime for the next two months and will only have a few minutes each night to play with my speakers. So for a quick toy, I was looking at building a couple of sosntube type subs. The vendors in the area that sell the sonotube are not open during my off hours, but homedepot and another local are. I found the concrete forms there, but I was wondering on the wall thickness of the sonotubes.
Can anyone giver me the wall thickness of the sonotubes, the forms I found may work, but I want to be sure.
Thanks in advance.

I just got the 18" diameter sonotube and the wall is 1/8". I think as you go in diameter it get thicker...not for sure.
There's a size chart on their site here (PDF): http://www.sonoco.com/resources/fibreforms.pdf
Though the ones I've seen at Home Depot were not Sonotubes, they were Quickrete forms, and the walls on those were much thinner.

Thanks for the chart, I was hoping the sonotubes would have a much thicker wall. I'm thinking now of a tube within a tube and a filler. Another thing that got me wondering was a tubes within tubes to create a type of horn. Just a thought.
