I depends.
A LAB12 in 100L tuned to around 22Hz with 300W is a great sub.
However with 300W you could run 2 12's in 100L that go a lot louder
but not as low. The former is all you need for music, the latter maybe
better for HT, it all depends on the planned usage.
300W with a low sensistivity driver (that goes low for box size)
might only be as loud as a 100W with a higher sensitivity driver,
that will need a bigger box and still not go as low as the former.
