I sell each pair for 400,- € plus transportation.
Some cabinets have small scratches and dents. I sell them for 350,- € per pair.
With the cabinets comes a circuit diagram and a list of components you have to buy to complete the speakers.
I redesigned the crossovers and sometimes made new choices concerning the drivers.
The result are speakers that are even better then the famous originals.

See also frequency response and impedance. The drivers are very much in phase proven by the measurements where the tweeter is connected with the wrong polarity.

I bought a custom version of the Anima in walnut veneer for a monitor plus subs project, I wanted to start with a reference level minimonitor and I was so impressed with the quality of the boxes that I ordered a spare set of boxes in Zebrano. I am a convicted addict in buying drivers and putting them in boxes, first attempts with router on MDF inside the house at the age of12, carpet kept the smell for at least three years 😀
In all my years of speaker building I was hoping that my great sounding speakers were going to look beautiful but it turned out woodworking is another crazy hobby I don't have time for.
Great professional matte real wood veneer and a wonderful sturdy removable bottom plate so I don't have to remove the drivers when I want to change a capacitor or a coil. No parallel walls, plywood plus two walls from MDF, small. Build a sub!
My only complaint was that the tweeter was countersunk for the that specific tweeter(all Seas 5.5 midwoofers share the same chassis so you can swap them all) and I wanted to try some of the tweeters I had in stash but then I swapped the 22TAF/G for the 22TF and liked it better. Still thinking on trying to enlarge the size of the tweeter opening but the 22TFF is magnificent, when I get a good deal on one of those Be tweeters I might try.
For all those who can build DACs and amps but need a very good monitor with extreme WAF - Joachim Gerhard is THAT Joachim Gehrard 😉
BTW my two sets came with the grills in front, best I have seen in a long time but I will never use them, if someone needs them just pay for shipping and you will have them for free.

This is the standard version. I also made a version with a SEAS metal dome and a version with a SEAS curve cone from the Linkwitz LX and a SEAS DXT tweeter.
Ready made the fist two speakers cost 900,-€. The third one costs 1200,-€ per pair.

The woofers are Peerless with a stiff and well damped Polypropylene cone.
The tweeters are modified SEAS metal domes.
The sound of that speaker is very open and transparent. The midrange is low in coloration.
The bass is tight, deep and fast. They throw a wonderful soundstage.

They come with some nice crossover components that you can use as is or remove with the use of a heat gun.
One pair has 8.2uF EVO Oil, 33 Ohm Mundorf Supreme, 5.6 Ohm Mundorf Supreme, 0.15uF Evo Silver Gold Oil.
The other pair has the same components but 0.1uF Evo Alu Oil.

Hi. Maybe its me, but I can't find a webpage for the Sonics Oumnia 2.0. Is that because they are new or ?
And are that the SEAS 22TAFC/G tweeter ?
They are redesigned by me. So they are better then the originals i designed years ago.
Hope you understand. There never was a commercial Oumnia 2.0.
I called my new design 2.0 to differentiate it from the traditional model.
The tweeter used is a modified SEAS H1147-06.
My modification removes the ultra sonic peak and lowers third harmonic over the usefull range to 1/3rd.

If you don't mind, what is the useful difference between the 27TBC/G H1147 and 27TBFC/G H1212?
On paper, the 27TBFC/G has a slightly lower impedance at Fs (550hz), better power handling and ever so slightly more Sd, by 0.5 cm^2. Dispersion is also ever so slightly better.
Am I missing something ? 😕
Oh... got it 🙂 - That is the question huh: To ferrofluid or not to ferrofluid.
Both versions have virtues. Ferrofluid gives some more power handling because it cools down the voicecoil and other parts. It also damps movements so some designers think that without Ferrofluid the sound is more nuanced and detailed.
I See. So one might say that the ferrofluid version EXTENDS the power handling and has an ever so slightly better impedance characteristics which is a trade off on the acoustical performance.

Well, the resonance peak is lower but that does not mean that it is better.
Actually the resonance peak of the Ferrofliud version is not particular symmetric and that created problems with the crossover network.
