This is a typical home amp for zoned areas. Its not a commercial or PA amp.Ian, something like this, a 12 channel amp, is not for home use.
Not likely to be widely sold, and expected to be industrial quality with 24 x 7 x 365 service up time. On a PA system, sound quality may not be so good, but OK. And service, if at all, by professionals who either installed it, or in house trained personnel.
The OP said hum across all channels.
What is common is the power supply and the pre amp.
So that is what I suggested.
And if need be, substitutes are available at a lower price than a professional repair.
And if needed, some regular amps can be stacked together, space permitting, as a replacement.
Bullittstang above has or had one, he may be able to give some more details of the circuit and main amp section, the rest of the work then is clearer than earlier.
Post #1 -sudden buzzing sound --- the OP is quiet ---probably turned his fridge/air conditioning /LED light controller --etc-- off.
🙂🙄
You take all the trouble and time and then people do not update you.
Feel ignored.
Anyway, on to the next one...

The OP may need to do more than just sit at their PC and explain the problem to us for hours, days even. Usually, they're hoping the first reply will have a simple solution, like replacing some known troublesome component and suddenly everything will work fine.
OK, so that's not going to happen. There are several obstacles and he's not so sure he can do the necessary testing and repairs or even wants to, given that we haven't offered a clear enough direction to proceed with - just made general obsrvations and suggested actions he may not understand. Give him a break. Maybe he needs time to check all this out or at least locate some useful service data.

I hope he has experience, it is just a modified amplifier, understanding it was not so difficult. It seems well made, judging from the photo.
But we have all accumulated bits and pieces of odd items over the years, so for example having a relay to check may not be an issue for us.
I don't know about him.
Let us wait for his response.
It might turn out to be a simple fault, we have all had those moments when we think - 'How did I miss that?'
