was busy testing my brand new UCD 400's Class D amps and tried this with some borrowed JMLabs Profil 3 speakers.
Next speakers I tried were my own Driade D81 Mk2 speakers....how awfull,
was this the once so beautiful sounding speaker? So I opened the box, what to look for?
Well, all the wires were plugged with amp. connectors. The speaker is about 8 years old I think.
So I soldered all the amp plugged wires to the crossover filter, fired her up...gone the distortion.
How simple can live be, but why the factory ever used amp. plugs........brrrrr.

just redid the speakers to have bi-wiring. What an awfull job to do. The connections were very hard to reach/separate.
Sound is a bit more relaxed now. Changed the inner connection from plug to crossover with QED silver wire.
