Somethings wrong with my spkr….help

Did you label each sweep so we can tell which is which?

For instance, I’m curious if these three go together in the same speaker: red mid, blue and red woofer, and black tweeter?

If yes, then that would at least isolate the problem to that speaker. The other two match well enough.

For example... one, two, three.

So, I measured the six woofers, (2 per speaker cabinet) just to see if they measured the same close mic. What it showed me regardless of specifics, the two woofers, the single mid and the single tweeter in the speaker in question all exibit differences in response from the other two, the L&R measure the same from the LP and/or close mic....... I just feel at this point its the XO.

I could pull all the drivers and see if they measure the same but I wonder how to do that safely, I do have a twoway electronic XO I could use, it is switchable to a single threeway which would work best, it'll be close mic

You can use your measuring program to measure the response at the driver terminals (with the drivers still connected), no microphone. Just make sure the signal is appropriate for your soundcard... DC, levels etc. This will show what your crossover is doing.

Then, if you see a difference between the drivers, swap the drivers for an 8 ohm resistor and check the different crossovers again. If you no longer see a difference then the driver impedances could be the problem.

You're welcome. Maybe I should have offered a different method to begin with that uses the same measurements you're used to. If you swap a good driver to the bad box, then if the response is still bad it means it's either the crossover or the box.

It looks like the woofers lowpass is not working or is -6db instead of -12db. there is no doubt the woofers are fine, and the XO will need to be pulled and examined. The black line graph shows a continued rolloff, where the red line graph almost shows a natural rolloff as if the driver is just rolling off naturally with out the aid of a -12db intended rolloff.......
