Coral in the instructions for the kits they sold with that canned driver use a single 12uF cap in series with the 5-M [ and a 2R resistor] and run it without any high cut inductor
About the same time [ give or take a decade] there was also a Peerless midrange with a very similar plastic enclosure and also a change from the square frame to a round frame.
I just tested the similar but later Fostex, free air is 330Hz but 550Hz when in the cup with minimum polyfill. I'm sure at some stage I had a pair that measured much lower and could cross at 400 to 500.

I didn't post pix of the other box I got as part of the sale, also $40- but not as good. I just wanted the cheap Jaycar 12" woofers in the box as they work very well as OB.
