Dumb question from a noob. What is the difference between the BC550BTA and BC550CTA Fairchild transistors? I'm building an Aleph J and it calls for the Cs. I'd like to buy the 550B/560B pairs from asuslover, but I want to make sure I'm buying the right parts.

The difference is the hfe.
My transistors : for bc550bta hfe is approx 400
And for the 560Bta the hfe is approx 375

I was able to determine that the suffix is irrelevant in this particular application. Will you sell 10 pairs? I'm in no hurry.

EDIT - I see now that you don't want to bother with small orders. I don't blame you. I'll see if I can find some elsewhere. No worries. Thanks again.
