check my 300volt regulator

-the RC time 47k and 22 uF give a long RC for
a very good filter out the ripple

-for one step better you can boost 22uF to 50 to 100uF

-i don t like hv regulator with IC because IC work with
negative feedback and feedback==possibly voltage
overshoot and possibly unstable

-the source follower regulator work very well and
is fulll proof stable

The TL783C is a three terminal IC type regulator that was designed for high voltage. I do not remember the specs, but have 100-150 in stock.

Update: This IC regulator (positive output) has a 125 VDC rating. I understand it can perform with a difference of 125 VDC or be floated up in voltage above ground for a differential of 125 VDC input to output.

In other words, it should perform well with an input of say 350 VDC & an output of 250 VDC.

the regulator should be work for you but if i follow
my design rules :

1-vin=330v is it with the load(tube circuit) connected
because vin-vout=30v and it s a minimum for my
otherwise change down your vout

2-normally i put 2 to 3ma on zener

3-in my case: zener current=(400-300)/47000=2.1ma

in your case: zener current=(330-300)/47000=0.6ma
it s working but a little too low

change the 47k for: (330-300)/.002=15kohm 1 or 2 watt

4-for good hum rejection my rc time=
47000*22uF=1sec.

change 22uF for maybe 66uF

15000*66uF=1sec.
