Hello!
I'm looking for a schematics for solid state amplifier that has about +/-140V - +/-160V and uses IRF's on output stage.
I was considering moding the old Crescendo amp, but I really don't want to experiment(too much).
So, if anyone has any schematics at all for such high voltages, please post it here.
thx,
DJG

a couple thoughts:
you can go to www.headwize.com and look under electrostatic amplifiers. The Art of Electronics also has a regulated high voltage supply -- if you change the reference input to a pre-input you can use it to drive capacitative loads. The Art of Electronics article has some now-discontinued Motorola devices, but I am sure you can find suitable replacements from IRF.
