i got some of these little things, but they came without the leads. how am i supposed to solder onto the ceramic part without ruining the ceramic part? I practiced on one and it still works, but it think its a little bit messed up. I'm trying to make drum triggers.
I once tried resoldering leads onto a piezo element and got very mixed results.
This is a hard disk you are talking about, right? Because I have heard of piezoelectric film.
I have not tried any, but there are such things as conductive glues. Ask your electronic supply store. If that doesn't work, here is the contact page, including tll-free phone number, for 3M tech support. I guess 3M makes a glue for just about anything.

I called them once on another matter and they were very helpful.
By the way, piezoelectrics can get somewhat hot. When asking about conductive glues, you might mention that heat might be present in the situation.
Good luck! 🙂
