The most realized protection approaches are without relay - i. e. not integrated in the driver unit for speaker relay.
Various examples therefore are to find under

Most relay driver units in power amplifiers contains only DC protect for the speaker voice coil and overheating - go to

In the attachments some examples for SOA-protection units by relay from old Pioneer vintage devices from the from the 70s.
How I can convert one this overload circuits, so that it can be used for MOS-FET's ?
The question rises up after I heard, that the genuine approach from AVM's M3 isn't good for this aim - go to the schematics in post #2 (jpg-file 7-10) and post #3 (jpg-file 1) under

Thanks for an advice.
P.S.: are there a discrete cone for the PA3004 ?
