Just know that with many of the integrateds, when you use the pre outs, most of the different sound field effects are disabled.

JCoffey, you are right about the soundfields... "Church" and "Jazz Hall" are no longer available. But, if you use a DVD-A or SACD player with 5.1 outputs, the main decoding algorithms are in-board so AC3, DTS and ProLogic will still be available, provided you can amplify all 6 channels.
