I realize that I didn't put it right. What I meant was (which is probably an another debate) is why so many ordinary people have guns, revolvers etc. at home just for personal protection and also seems to use it and also children use it! We in Sweden can't understand why americans don't have any debate about limiting the amount of fire arms which is floating around.

One difference is a much higher crime rate in US than i Sweden, A harder climate?

I must also add that more weapona are floating around here also, much illegal one coming from the former east countries but normal people haven't revolvers in their bedrooms.

I think history has a lot to do with it. Canada also has a colonial past but nowhere near the murder rate the US of A has. I guess the Wild West has had a ripple effect till this day and age....Plus Sweden or any other European country for that matter have societies that are much more homogenous.

Thought I'd try it out on one of my GCs...

I always thought of a snubber as a girl who wouldn't dance with you. Guess I was wrong

"Many SSRs have built-in transient suppressors connected in parallel with the semiconductor switch output. Common suppressors include RC networks (sometimes called snubbers), Zener or clipper diodes, varistors (voltage-dependent resistors), and RC/diode dump circuits."
