SMSL SA-98E TDA7498E , What's your opinion of its design\sound ?

Hi I recently got this amplifier ( the 160W version )
It come with the original smsl switch power supply 36V 5.7A
inside the case there is a 8200uf 50V filter cap not an 4700uf as the pictures that published

I listen to it about a week , its sound good , i did not found any flaws .
I be glad to hear what your opinion of this amplifer ?
did any body got the schematic ? what do you think about its design ?

cap mods

I did an easy mod that opens up the sound. After the main smoothing big cap there are two polyester capacitors, one for each channel supply. I replaced them with Rubycon ZLJ 47uf/63V and the soundstage and general presentation is way better.

Also look in the power supply, there are some crap chinese capacitors 100uf/63V on the output, replace those for Rubycon ZLJ 150uf/63V and you're done.

The unit sounds really nice now. You can get Rubycon ZLJ at farnell.

Could this be moved in Class D forums?

the sa-98e looks like very good amp but IMHO the volume gain is too high , for an living room .

recently i bought the Breeze audio TDA7498e like this one

Its volume gain less than the SA-98e , but well enough for living room .

I also added polyester 100nf bypass caps inside the power supply unit. Big improvement in soundstage and clarity.
