SMSL Audio SA98E internals

I have looked at photographs of the internals of the SMSL Audio SA98E and they have different components inside and im wondering what this might mean to the sound? it seems like the capacitors is the main thing that they changed some have a couple of them and some have only one big one
I am a noob anyone know what the metal doughnuts are? what do they do?
