I have 4 skynet 8080 smps from NUUK will +24,-24 be enough to run Hypex UCD 180 in to efficient loudspeakers ,if so I would appreciate a little wiring diagram for a novice.
If the module will work off that voltage, and I don't see why not, you should get about 60 watts 8 ohms, and around 100 watts 4 ohms. These are just general figures, I think I calculated for a single ended split rail correctly.

The UcD180 modules do have specified minimum of +/-30V rails. You might want to search if you can go lower than that or not. What is the current capability of those skynet modules? Sounds like they might not have enough oomph to adequately power a UcD180.
Hi,
The min voltage as stated on the datasheet is with respect to min/max recommended for best "sonic" performance.
I'd imagine with a very well regulated supply it could be made to run as as little as +-15V, but you wouldn't want it to dip any lower than that.
If your supply starves the modules of current when you crank it up they'll go into shutdown.
The other concern is that if you like to listen to it a at anything other than low volume you'll be working your SMPS hard which will keep it running hot and reduce it's lifespan/reliablity.
Cheers,
Chris
