I've made open baffle speakers with MJK's H frame woofer crossed over at 250 Hz. No problem with integration at all. I used plate amps for the bass units(with their internal crossovers, and a cap at the input of a single ended triode amp to cut the bass to the full rangers.
I was wondering if you were going to make a Back loaded horn intentionally cutting off the bass at 6dB/ octave at 250 Hz (using stereo bass units), could you make the back loaded horn box smaller, tuning it to help more in the 200-800 Hz region.
Trying to increase the WAF.
Thanks,
Paul
