Thanks for a great resource in diy audio. It's been almost ten years, since my last diy project. This was simple stereo pair of Seas T18REX/ACG using soapstone as cabinet material. Project _before_ that was audio transformerless hybrid ESL's with direct-coupled tube amp, but that's another story 😉
There's been some intermediate projects after that (a house, kids, etc..), but after reading a while, it seems that I am getting the "spark" once again. I've been reading about Seas Thors and the great Clarity thread. I would be able to get my hands on the pair of T25CF002 + W18EX001. I could buy another pair and I would have ingredients for great speakers.
I understand this is not the woofer used in Thor plans (even if they originally were). What considerations I should make for the cabinet design and XO design? Would there be any considerations using XO design V2 by jimangie1973 with Small Thor design and W18EX001 elements?
Another interesting option would be to do a intermediate project step before Thor's. I have extra pair of Seas L22RNX/P. I really like three-way cabinet design style with Amphion Xenon's, where woofer is on the side. I do not know about internal structure though. Cabinet would have forward facing tweeter + mid and side mounted woofers for the low low's. Here XO design would be a concern.
Has anyone done three-way ML TL designs?
Maybe a third route would be to after Troels Gravesen's Acapella LWJ, which uses the same woofer + mid but different tweeter.
Well, it would be great to hear some reflection on my thoughts. Any input is highly appreciated, so thanks in advance!

Okay, got the elements. T25CF002's + W18EX001's are part of AW-10 excel kit. They sound great as is. Clear improvement compared to my previous AW10-coaxes.
I checked the 8" woofers. They're L21RN4X/P and not L22RN4X/P. So slight difference. Also they have been standing in cold storage for few years, so I need to clean them up and check if they still work.
So, I got somewhat similar tweeter used with Acapella SEas and somewhat similar woofer used with Acapella LWJ. Mid's are at least the same. Obviously xovers are not going to work directly. I need to start investigating how these elements could be matched to Troels designs.

Small Thor is designed specifically for the Thor woofer.Using anything else would require remodeling to see what changes would need to be made, and XO would need redoing.
