Digi-key's computer must dislike your computer and has chosen to harrass it.

I just popped over the digikey and it said I could buy 1 for $1.89.

as in:
IRF9610PBF-ND IRF9610PBF MOSFET P-CH 200V 1.8A TO-220AB Vishay SGI P-Channel 200 V 1.8A TO-220AB Bulk
2837
1.89000

It looks like they told you the same thing, unless you are dead set on having lead in your mosfets and that wasn't clearly explained. Otherwise, call Digi-Key.

The only TO-220AB 9610 Packaging comes in bulk of 400. If you are typing something different into digikey then irf9610 please tell me what so I can figure this out.

Granted, there may have been a bit of confusion over whether people were referring to surface mount (S) or a multitude of devices (s), but I confess that I do not see why there's a problem about Digikey's stock of TO-220 devices. They show 2837 of the IRF9610PBF TO-220AB case in stock as of this moment.
This is clearly shown in your own cut and paste.
What's the problem?

Rollins, I don't understand what your beef is with me using an apostrophe s to designate plural usage of a noun. Possesive case would be s apostrophe ,i.e. "Johns' house" would be a house belonging to John, "John's house" would be houses belong to several John's (plural). There is nothing new or dated in the use of apostrophe s to designate plural.

Besides, what does any of this have to do with locating appropriate parts for a PC board? I guess some people just like to find fault in others. I feel sorry for those that honestly find it necessary to pass judgement on who and what a person is based on their internet presence. We ALL know how accurate that is.

Language is an organic entity. It's function is to communicate concepts and ideas. As such it is constantly changing and evolving, much like mankind. The use of "ain't" use to be considered bad english because there was no such word in the dictionary, now there is. Fundamentally it isn't a question of right or wrong but more appropriately has the listener/reader understood what the speaker/writer is attempting to convey. One of my pet peeves is the use of negated questions. Did you not read the last line? Answer with one word. You can't with any assurance you will be correctly understood. That is an example of a failure to communicate that without an explanation will lead to confusion. The correct answer is of course "no" but many people would interpret that as meaning you did not read the question.

In short I feel I clarified my request for a SMD adequately for the majority of the population. I'm sorry you take such exception. I'll not say anymore on the subject of the english language.

The problem is... I am new to this and whatever u are speaking of I have no idea what u mean. I can only cram so much info into this head at one time, an explanation on why I can use something else would definitely help out some.

I read the parts list, I typed in the part number and this is what I found. I just don't have the KNOWLEDGE yet to start offering up different parts for something I don't fully understand.

But, I don't see where my lack of knowledge stops me from building this amp, just like everything else, I will learn something in the process.

🙂
