Small Scale Project

There is a lot of content in this forum, and I am still wading through it. So, please don't heckle me for more than a week, if this question has been asked several times.

I am building a case for a PC based on the Nano-ITX board from Via. My goal is to build a tiny PC that internalizes its display and keyboard interfaces. My thought is to use the Virtual Laser Keyboard and a LCD Projector.

The LCD Projector would have to be small, but would only have to project the image 12 to 20 inches on to a screen 17ish inches in size. So I began googling for HOW-TO and DIY LCD Projectors and found myself here wading through an abundance of information.

All that being said, everything that I have read so far has been aimed at the goal of making huge projections. Projections that cover walls, if not cliff faces. Can anyone point me to a thread or direction that will help me make a projector on a much smaller scale?

Hey, Welcome to the Forum!
Here's One
but the resolution is quite low. For proper computer usage, I think a lilliput screen (7") would be good enough, or not use projection at all, just have an LCD...

BTW. how much do those mobos go for, and where can I get one in Toronto, Ontario, Canada?

Cheers and good luck on your project,
Alex
