Have been reading that the smaller the LCD screen the better (so long as it is 1024 x 768). I have not been able to find any LCD monitors/projection panels anywhere, however did come across this:

It has AV input, but dosnt seem to have VGA input (could u get an adapter with a femals VGA part, and would u lose quality?).
Do people think this would be suitable, or 2 hard to dismantle for a newb, and is there anything else that anyone can recommend?
BTW the total cost for the item above would be $210AU (inc post from hongkong) = $160US

I think that screen is a mixed bag, for a start it claims to do xga and is classed as a monitor TV, that suggests it has a VGA input on it already although it's defenitely worth checking this before buying - TV doesn't need an xga resolution and the word monitor hints at a vga connection.
The downside is that I don't believe its native resolution is xga, 768 pixels high at 0.372 (am assuming mm here) per pixel = 286mm, however the vertical dimension given is 153mm. At best I'd say you're looking at a 640 by 480 native resolution, however it could be even worse than that.
The only small screen that does xga that I'm aware of is the 6.3" NEC discussed in this thread.
