Small Aperiodic Bi-Chamber

The more I try to understand audio engineering, the further I realize I am from understanding audio engineering.

Can anyone who actually knows what they're talking about look at this Hornresp calculated values and tell me if it's going to sound like farting into a garbage can instead of mozart?

I'm guessing it might do a bit of "Mofart's 1st sonatina" (?) 32Hz is low for a small driver - it might play a bit of that note but guessing won't subjectively punch much in its upper bass even at the ceiling corner with driver aimed at listener - - still it could be instructive to cobble a test box up from scrap and give a listen. If you could settle for maybe an octave plus higher low end cutoff then perhaps XRK971's PS95 XKi Karlson type could be fun.

Well, as Freddi pointed out, tuning this far below Fs means this driver won't handle hardly any power below ~100 Hz plus HR's pi space is based on the theoretical max gain, so unless a really massive/rigid room construction, best to sim in 1 pi for corner loading and tune the cab to at least Fs to get most of Mozart, though of course at only a fraction of live concert levels. 🙁

I didn't realize you can upload a hornresp export. I'll do that when I get back from work today.

Thank you for the feedback about the pi space. I'll adjust the sim to 1 pi. They are going in my office at work for modest volume listening while I'm designing stuff. I can position them in corners to match the simulated room gain.

In terms of power handling and sound levels. I'm was hoping to make a compromise to get a better listening experience by reducing peak power handling. I'm hoping to use my AmpCamp amp to power it. So my design process assumed lower power handling (2-5 watts during normal use). Do you think this will be enough wattage to have issues with power handling?

I notice that some of the driver specs are different from this datasheet, so did you measure them or ..........?

edit: Max power is 25 W, but the alignment runs out of its 4.2 mm Xmax right below tuning with just 1.0 W, so our previous suggestions to deal with it apply.

Also, port 2 vent mach is already a bit too high @ 25 m/sec, so already ideally needs increasing in area/length or 'critically' damped via the
