whats the port tuning freq?
60Hz, it's quite to the limit imho
Nice! Bet they sound as good as they look! 🙂
Yeah they sound pretty good, i'm feeding them with a Class D amp just for now, cuz i'm about to finish my DIY streamer AB amp using an RPi + DAC + MX50se
You haven't got baffle step captured, and the tweeter response below 2k isn't optimal.
It's a 4 ohm midbass, Lojzek, so it should be OK. But maybe third order tweeter would be good. Add a 10uF.
Steve, I'm affraid that you have been a little hasty with your conclusion regarding your first sentence.
Hi Ciro82,
is the simulation based on your own measurements or on traced data from specs. In any case, the impedance does not show a vented box.
Regards
Heinrich

I haven't simulated the box, that simulation has the diffraction only
Steve, I'm afraid that you have been a little hasty with your conclusion regarding your first sentence.
You are speaking in riddles there, my friend. Not a hard speaker, surely. I would guess 1mH/10uF for a 3kHz crossover, with 3.3uf/0.2mH/10uF on the tweet. A 4 ohm midbass speaker popular in TV sound bars.
And so it is with a 1R shunt for phase, and 3.9R tweeter attenuating resistor thrown in. 🙂

The choice of 2kHz crossover doesn't look too bad either. Call that a design choice.
