Many of these "helpful" sites are actually bad sites. I know nothing about this one, but I don't trust ANY of them. Yamaha owners manuals show up as spyware right off their corporate site.
I know of no language that enables active sites that is safe. Java Script is no worse than most of the rest. Keep up to date.

Just ran that site in three tabs and it came up with three different "unique" identifying strings. Indeed they were all unique. I've been told the service they are advertising *does* indeed track you. After seeing this site I believe it.
A friend of mine did this to me in the 90's when I visited a website he was hosting. Pretty neat. I tried the test on your link and after using the 'delete personal information' (on the browser you know I'm using) it still generated different unique I.D.'s. Although in multiple tabs, the unique I.D. was unique to me.
I'm eager to learn more if you care to elaborate.
