Hi, I want to use this schema for an Headphone Amplifier
I have a little 12V transformer and I want to use it.
Wich of these two schemas is ok?
I hope all!!
Thank you!!

Avoid these rail-splitter, virtual ground things. They can be made to work but they are not robust.
The T1 with 1n4007s circuit is better but C1 and C2 should have more capacity in this half wave configuration.

For example, the NwAvGuy O2 amp uses 2x470µF each and still follows that up with 78/79 regulators. +/-12 V may prove too high with a 12 V~ secondary, going down to 10 V types (or the more common 9 V ones) or an adjustable LM317/337 pair with ADJ pin caps may be prudent. The T1 with 1n4007s circuit is better but C1 and C2 should have more capacity in this half wave configuration.
Ok, That's what I wanted to know. I honestly thought the op amp circuit was safer and more stable... I'll do some tests.
Thank you!!!
