Single Ended Audio Output Transformer Rating?

First time poster. I just found this site. Not even sure if this is the right category, but here goes. I am restoring a WWII BC-348R receiver. The original audio output tube was a 6K6. But since this radio is missing its audio output transformer, and the radio does not even have an audio driver, it depends on a single 6K6 to drive the headphones used on board the bomber. There was no speaker. But I plan to replace the 6K6 with a 6V6 to get a little more power out of it to drive a speaker. The 6V6 will be single ended, and I'm having a little trouble selecting an audio output transformer for it to drive an 8 ohm speaker. I seem unable to pin down a number for the primary impedence for said transformer. Thank you.

It is a good practice to look at the tube data. 5k (to 8 ohms.) seems to be optimum.
