I have here a new pair of 225’=s (only used for a test couple of months ago) and like to build a simple speaker cabinet for them.
In the manual of Fostex there is shown a standard bass reflex cabinet for this driver. From other projects I have some surplus materials and therefore very useful for this relative small and simple project.

Fostex BRs have historically been not very well aligned Bass. The FFxx5wk are likely better than the FExx6 in that respect.
How big is the box? I’m too lazy to do the math.
Mine are still on the shelf, sims suggest a box between 13 and 35 litres, the latter being optimal miniOnken size.
The box braces are very crude.

Yes maybe less bass. But I have this drivers in my garage. Have to do something with them. I'm also very lazy today. Original cabinet dimensions of Fostex. You can download it by yourself.

Hondasnl,
Looks like you built the recommended 28L enclosure. Very good looking by the way.
Let us know what you think of the sound.
I built the recommended 35L enclosure out of OSB, but without bracing, for the FE207E a few years ago and thought they sounded pretty good even it that unrefined cabinet.

Thx! Yes I built the recommended enclosure. I'll let you know about the sound if they are ready. For me the lows are more important for this kind of drivers.
They sounds lovely!
The Bass is okay.
The Highs are not bad at all.
Sounds much deeper than the Dual-208.
Very nice at all!
The Alnico's CA-80's are the best 🙂.
