As a whole different scheme that would have to be revised too. But we have no practical problem with that ground schematic yet. Make it first.
Good news: today arrived the 8 caps 0,1uF/600V russians teflon T-3, wow are terribly bigs comparing with the 0,1uF/200V russians teflon T-2.
Now only need to measure all caps & I will start mine Simplistic:=)
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

FT-3 are the best of the lot.... They have an enormous linearity over the entire spectrum.
I am populating my boards now... hope to hear something in the weekend 🙂

Only for fun, pic with measured FT-3

Hi guys,After having recently revived my 30 year old Logic DM101 I've been scanning this thread for a few days now, only got to page 230 and decided to take action, as I had most of the parts collecting dust.
Unfortunately I don't have enough K170s or the Mosfets for the shunt so I'll need to improvise to get this baby playin tunes.
No exotic caps or Rs yet as I need to test the water first so to speak before layin oot the dosh!
Anyway this is what I came up with.
Hi Ricardo Great work Hows it going? You got a scope yet?

Looks orderly. Is it the MC version? What TO-220 transistors you got in your inventory, what other JFETS? Maybe we can think of a shunt with the parts you got. The supply is a big part of its sound.
Looking good indeed. Always rub clean those tarred (silver plated?) FT-3 ends before assembly by the way.
I did rub clean but only the holes where i soldered the wires....
I will try and clean it further.

After all the past troubles, I am very carefull about solder joints 🙂
I finished building the two boards ! The psu is working very well.
Before I connect anything I must be sure there are no errors in the p2p.... It will take some time to compare the boards links with the schematic.
Tomorrow I will get the missing "tuning" caps.... finally I will work on the gnd and power connections.

Hi Ricardo,
Could you please post a photo of board underneath. I'm trying to figure out how to secure those Mica monsters (I have 2 of them for both RIAA values... ).

Desolder the metal ring legs from under the caps, make suitable holes in the board, glue the caps in place and then solder them. 🙂
Since I'm using teflon sheets for my constructions I could heavily modify them converting them to Teflon and air dielectric ...😀
A good glue for teflon anyone ?

Hi Andrew,
I don't know about the system but I appreciate your generosity..😉

No scope yet 🙂
The boards look good !
Nice work Ricardo🙂
Very good components selection:
Resistors: 1 shinkoh, 1 Takman & the rest Kiwame?
Elec. Caps: BG NP, Elna Silmic II, Rubycon ZL?
Film Caps: Obbligato, Russian Silver Mica, Russian FT-3 teflon
What about how's sound?
