Yes, depends on the final sound you are after, in the total system concept. I prefer the Silmic there, but the FC is more neutral. Use FC for all local decouplers. If you have followed Ricardo (RCruz) you may have seen that he tuned it as a whole for his total system sound. The good thing is that Ricardo showed us that the circuit has the resolution and listens to tuning. What output capacitors you have in mind?

Auricap. But start listening with what you have. To see where it initially stands after burn in. Maybe a VTA change can cover you, you can't know from now. Nothing is carved in stone. We can project to some changes after first taste in YOUR system. RCruz will have much to say too.
IMO C3 is fundamental for the overall equilibrium. (I settled with
15700pF soviet with 320p mica)
C1 must be a high Q cap to enable as much bandwith as possible... (FT-3 teflon)
For the output I am using 4.7u obbligato AL film caps... quite good for the price.
Be very carefull choosing Rload. and fine tune with VTA.

I must correct the previous statement due to the different component names in my schematic.
When I refered to C1, I meant C4 (100nF) in your case.
This riaa + shunt combination is a very high definition combination and responds very well to component change... It enables you to hear the differences between the components.
Led string is very important, reducing noise and increasing detail retrieval.... please report the effect of using a FC as bypass. (I have a BG STD there)

Incorporating the shunts on the phono board and using them per stage is the optimum practice. Use one for the first stages and one for the other two. First stage is the one you want to isolate the most.

When I upgraded from 1 to 2 shunts, I noticed an increase in channel separation with corresponding sound stage widening and a noticeably lower compression.
I use one shunt per stage but acording to your comment should I review the setup ?

Add ~10% for variations.
That is the minimum working voltage for a capacitor across the LEDs.

Marinos is thinking of a step further. 4 on board shunts. 2 for L-R first stage, 2 for L-R second stage + buffer.

Integration and overall coherence are enhanced so I get a much deeper sounstage.
The dual shunt took the TT some steps away from the über CDP.

I did not try a SM there "yet".
Initially I used a russian PIO and now I am using a 47nf obbligato with outstanding results.

Last report on the output caps bypass.... I believe I will keep the FT-3 100nF on the obligato 4.7uF.
The combination is very good indeed bringing loads of hidden detail and extending the low end as well.
Also it seems to remove any edginess from female voice and Miles Horn. (Outstanding).
