In any case UFSP is "simplistic" its sound isn't technical and you like it much so you made a very good choice to build it. 👍
That Teac phono can easily go to another if you decide since it has very good reputation and very good build & function.

Remember to show us picture when with dark perspex lid also!I'm still waiting for the top cover for the Ultra, which will be made of dark clear plexiglass to see the beauty inside. I decided on that because it is completely silent without a cover.
Since they are large panels, the measurement in the room was made at the listening position, I think the system is quite good and I can clearly distinguish the differences in components and cables, Teac did not sit in this kind of system, it is possible that it could suit someone who has a softer sound system with with its timbre.

We often listen together. Both in the lap. What your Pug dog says? I see listening calm to the electrostatics. Must be enjoying the UFSP too.🙂
However, occasionally I have a problem with their snoring while they sleep, so the music gets noisy...hahahaha
They definitely enjoy Ultra
Exactly, it is interesting that even today with the KLIPPEL audio measurement system we get unusual measurement results, which do not match the auditory experience of such a speaker, probably because there is no line-type measuring microphone, but only a piston (point type).Čak i za male panele radi isto. Nedavno sam mjerio Magneplanar LRS+ kod prijatelja, mikrofon u bliskom polju ne govori ništa korisno.
I am also interested in the Magneplanar LRS+ speakers, extremely affordable, how did you like them.
With a good turntable and Ultra they certainly work great!
I made another pair of speakers out of Magnepan 1.6qr with integrated sub and Hypex FE 203 amp.
Sorry for the offtopic

They are very good for up to 25m2 rooms I think. Going down to 55Hz then falling like a rock of course. But within their bandwidth and loudness envelope coherent and smooth. Need 10cm elevation feet to listen straight, else when directly on the floor their factory set back angle is well chosen for 2-3m away listening position. Don't believe 86dB sensitivity, that's some spot frequency 2.83V estimation, they are roughly as sensitive as a BBC LS3/5A in practice. Heavy load, dips little under 3Ω. I have seen it soaking 200W+ peaks.

It is probably due to the tension of the mylar membrane.Going down to 55Hz then falling like a rock of course.
A small frame simply dictates a higher resonance.
I think i have enough 2sk170BL's now to get 3 matched pairs 😅 i just couldnt pay 15 or 20 dollar for a pair when you can get them for 2 dollar a piece. They are genuine Toshiba. Now i only have to spend some time on matching.
Yep, exc. shipping. But still not bad.

Idk, i probably take 20 spare pairs out for private stock or so and sell the rest.
Maybe i can help out some european people on here who are willing to build your phono preamp.
Ive had contact with a ducth webshop for the jfets but he was sold out and told that even his supplier send him fakes the last time. So probably he will be interested to buy them. But I will see on that, i will hold on to them for now.
