Hi, I just found this interesting JLH version of yours. I could not resist and made the dual-supply version (+-9V) of it in TINA. It puts out 6Wrms @ 4Ohm load with <0.02% THD, using 1kHz sine waves. I found it "ringing" a tiny bit with 10kHz squares, but not much, so if I could, I would build and measure it IRL... do you happen to design PCBs as well? Would be nice if someone built it and reported back success 🙂

i made one pcb in my life and it was awfull but i did recently get into it i also have an mosfet version of this amplifier that makes more power at lower voltages, but it seems that i lost it the only thing i changed was replaced the bjt's with njfets, addeed gate resistors and added an 0.6R source resistor to the bottom fet.
Thanks for coming back to me. I only started this DIY journey, and have no tools for evaluating a build. I only want to make already tested circuits for now, but saved your design for later 😉
