Assuming the following equation gives the length port(s) in metric:
Lv = (23562.5*Dv^2*Np/(Fb^2*Vb))-(k*Dv)
(dv=diameter)
Does that mean Lv =
a) the total length of all ports?
or
b) the required length of each port?
eg. if Np=1 and Lv = 45cm for a given Fb, Vb and Dv, but the equation = 97cm when Np=2.... Does that mean each port should = 97cm in length? - or each port should add up to a total length of 97cm?
Also.... does each port have to be the same length (eg - could one be 60cm and the other 37cm - assuming the same diameter)?
Yours in simple minded confusion,
Dave.
