I just received a new laser cutter/engraver, and i was planning to create, as my first project, a subwoofer for my audioengine a2+ a small 2.0 desktop kit.
I'm a complete noob in Audio DiY so i'm looking for something simple to cut, and with all the explanation needed on the parts to buy. I'm not confident to build the crossover by my self, so just planning to buy a kit for the elecronic parts.
Do you have some suggestions on where to find the project (with the cad files ) and the parts to buy?

Will you build both electronics and acoustics?
Electronic: power desired, signal level (input: phono, pc, mikes, tv...).
Acoustics: maximum/minimum size, speaker's size, spl, electronics merged into it or separate?

Hi thanks first of all for the reply. I would like to buy all the electronics… it’s my first diy audio project so I’m more confident this way.
For the size of the cabinet and the driver is not a problem, I’ve a lot of space under the desk where I plan to set the sub. The speaker are two 60w pre amplified speakers, so maybe I should create something that could match these…(here the link https://audioengine.com/shop/wirelessspeakers/a2-wireless-computer-speakers/)
