I've bread boarded this simple EQ and it's working, but i only have 10k dual pots and the schematic asks for 50K. What calculations needs to be done to change the value to 10k?

Clearly: all impedances related to the 50k/10k must be made 5 times lower.
Was there a reason the original was 50k? Yes, with the 5X down-scaling the input impedance becomes 500 Ohms. The load on each opamp is two of these, 250 ohms. Even the robust LM833 (or the '5532 it tries to be) will struggle badly at 250 ohms.
IMHO: you are not going to have all these odd cap values in your drawers. Make-up a web-order including pots.
