Martin King'sogram is the best I have ever seen and if you have a look at the frugel-horn.com web site, you will find a listing of some exceptional designs! It is a treasure trove for anyone seriously considering getting in to full range systems, IMO.
Thank you very much for the positive feedback. The worksheets also work very well for designing the bass section of multi-way systems. If you get the bass box done right then you only need to add is the crossover and midrange/treble driver(s).
Solve,
I hope you get your problem solved. For me it was just download the .xls file,
load, open and run the spreadsheet module and seek the file in XP. The color highlights and everything came up fine.
Thanks loninappleton, little slow in my brain today...

thanks for the link, I'll get on to it the coming week or so.Hi Henkjan, OpenOffice uses a dialect of BASIC which is very similar to VBA. The syntax is the same, but the underlying objects are different, so you have to do a bit of renaming (and some recoding). Just for fun, try a snippet in this converter to quickly see some differences: http://www.business-spreadsheets.com/vba2oo.asp
I have reviewed my position and have decided that TL's will be too expensive and perhaps difficult to construct at this stage. I don't wish to end up with a crappy sound because of a poorly designed TL.
Instead, I will first touch up on some woodworking skills by "improving" some crappy D-zone 3W computer speakers - I guess if the woodworking ends up to be crap, it shouldn't matter... 😀
Then I will make a proper enclosure for my DIY portable mp3 audio system (which sounds quite nice) so I don't have to look at the green cardboard enclosure anymore (does anyone here make prototypes?).
After which I will settle for the Dayton rs100s-8 reference 3 and 7/8'' full range in a rectangular vented enclosure. I will post the design when finished.
By the way, thanks for your replies, and the Alignment Table. 🙂
P.S. I found some "reviews" of many speakers (Zaph|Audio) and decided that the Dayton rs100 was better than the fr125sr for my application. Not to mention I can buy twice as many for the price!
