Be careful using too much heat on Eichmanns
While the Eichmann Silver Bullet contact points are pure silver the surrounding material is not, especially the polymer holding the negative conductor. This polymer can and will melt if subjected to too much heat. For example, the instructions call for the polymer to be heated slightly with a hot air blow dryer so tehy can be fitted for the first time to an RCA post. You can easily see that they wil soften quite a bit if left under heat too long.
I used Eichmann silver solder (5.2% Ag) when I made my pure silver interconnects.
