For me it is an increase in confidence in dealing with a seller for the first time.

I have bought Silmic II (several values and TonRex) from ELNA.
I had to buy directly due to I did not find ANY distributer that carried my wanted specifications.

When I ordered the Silmic II - Elna´s factory manufactured my order, but used standard production data.
If I had ordered a larger quantity I could have changed leg length etc..

The only hazzle with buying directly are the production and delivery times..
It can take 6 - 8 weeks in production, and if you want to save in the shipping costs you can let Elna include your order with their regular shipments (by sea) from the factory to their main store in UK (for europe), and Elna ships at local shipping costs in Europe.
This adds a minimum of 5 weeks to the shipping time..
