Sold to Reaper996 today. Thank you to everyone who responded to the ad!

Sale is Pending (money has not been transferred). I appreciate all the interest and will respond to each PM if/when the sale is finalized ( I wish I had 50 pair of these with the level of response ;>)

For sale is a pair of Silk Audio (SAC Thailand) Push Pull Transformers. The numbering on them is P-10-15-16. They are new, never soldered potted transformers.

They still make the P-10-15A which seems like the version I have except these lack the ultralinear taps and I'm not sure what the "16" in the model number stands for. Today (before taking the images) I measured the turns ratio of the opened unit (using alligator clips and not soldering the terminals) using a variac and came up with 35.5:1. Squaring that gives the impedance ratio of 1260.25 and referencing that with the 8 ohm tap (which the turns ratio was measured) gives 1260.25 X 8 = 10,082. So they are clearly the 10K plate to plate impedance version and the same dimensions as the "E" series listed on their website: SACThailand (look under transformers on the left menu and scroll down to the push/pull section). Based on their size and the model number I'm confident they are the 15 watt versions.

I bought these about 5 years ago with the intention of either building a 6V6 PP amp or trying a PP 6SN7 amp (as an alternative to a 2A3 amp essentially). I had the schematic for a fairly popular 6V6 amp that recommended these transformers, but have been through a few computers since then and can't find it. Either way, finding a good design should be simple. I'm selling them along with some other components due to health issues that really limit my time in the hobby.

One of the transformer boxes has never been opened. The one I opened had a small indentation on the top of the transformer. It can only be seen in some light such as late evening natural light. I took an image in the evening doing my best to show it, but with normal overhead lighting it's not visible or from looking down on the unit. I just want people to be aware that it seems to have an imperfection from the factory.

Also included is a 10 Henry 150ma choke that is potted and the same dimensions as the output transformers. I didn't measure the DCR (foolishly, but on their website the same size choke states 140 ohms). I can measure the DCR and post that info tomorrow.

These could be made into a nice low powered amplifier and perfect for that Spring project. SACThailand has the output transformers listed at 6500 THB which is approximately $200 US and the choke is 1500 THB which is around $45 US. Then there's shipping from Thailand. I'm offering this SET for $150 shipped to the continental US (sadly, shipping is only to the CONUS, my apologies to the DIYers elsewhere). I will cover Paypal fees which is the preferred method of payment.

Thanks for looking at my ad and if anyone knows what the "16" in the part number represents, that info would be greatly welcome.

I think Evan is down the line... The set was most probably ordered for premium build of Poinz Musical machine 6V6 amplifier and output transformers have a 10-15-16 designation because of 8 and 16 Ohm secondary setting , and not regular 4&8 ohms .
