Wire.

Hello,

Hook-up wire normally isn't.
You can lightly twist a pair of wires together to provide some shielding.
Assuming you're using a metal casing for your project you probably won't benefit from extra shielding but I leave that open for debate.
I always prefer to use unshielded runs of wire inside my gear, opinions may differ from mine though.
Several colours of insulation are available to make distinguishing between ground and signal wiring.
All interconnects are shielded and fully symmetrical in build.
These can be bought unfinished (no plugs) an a per meter basis from a distributor of your choice.

Best rgds,🙂

hi Frank,

that's what I thought... anyway It's not the first time I hear about people using unshielded wires for signal, I guess I'll just have to test and see the difference myself...

thanks for your answer,
yuval
