This is interesting,
I was thinking of a similar project in push / pull transformer config with a couple
of 900v Horizontal output BJT's instead of KT88's
driven with a 12ax7

Since it was the subject of a Linear Audio article, I doubt that it's available for all comers - you would need to buy Jan Didden's USB stick archive to be able to access the article. I also very much suspect that there was a real working example, as it was indeed the subject of an article in Jan's magazine.
