I just bought a used Rel T3 subwoofer, which is supposed to extend to 30 Hz (-3 dB). But when it's connected to my Kinter K3118 (which uses a TPA3118) it has a noticeable dropoff at ~52 Hz.
I don't have another amp to test the sub with, or another sub to test the amp with, so not much opportunity to figure out what's wrong. I suppose I could buy an 1/8" to RCA adapter and connect the T3 directly to my headphone out.
I'm wondering if I should suspect my K3118. From what little I know, that seems very unlikely.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
