Hello,
I am about to make up some shorting plugs for the unused INPUTS on my little Stromberg-Carlson, ASR-333.
Hopefully, this may help quiet things down even more.
After much reading, I cannot come to a clear understanding of what would be an "ideal" value to use for the resistor. Everything from 0 to 10K has been suggested by someone.
Please advise.
Thank you very much,
Marshall

In the rare instance where I use a shorting plug I make it a dead short.. (no resistor)
Thank you.
I plan to make a pair of dead shorts as well for comparative/learning/observational purposes.
Working from this suggested method I am still interested in any comments regarding specific values and why if the writer feels so inclined:

My knowledge is very modest.
