Around here home centers sell styrofoam insulation boards 1" thick. There are often small packages of this that will fit in a normal car to get it home. It is also cheap. Has anyone tried to ship their Stage speakers through the mail system?
What sort of container should be used, assuming the original packing material is not availabe?

I suggest they will be too large/heavy for the Postal system - so you'll have to use a courier? When I had to send by 6' x 2' Maggie panels up to the importer for repair (about 900m away), I made an appropriately-sized "coffin" for them out of 5-ply top & bottom, with 2" thick pine for the 4 sides. It protected them nicely from the courier company's apes. 🙂
